OUR APPROACH
How exactly do we work to instill understanding and inspire change in our students? A Change is Simple student's experience is so much more than just a series of lessons. These hands-on, SEL-driven sessions work to engage the students so that not only do they have tons of fun, but they leave school that day remembering the importance of these topics.
This is a Kindergarten student engaged in their first ever Change is Simple lesson: What is the Environment?. The lesson starts with a 15 foot blank blue circle — our planet. They learn exactly what makes up our environment, adding dozens of 3D objects like trees, rivers, animals, buildings, cars, boats, and more — developing a sense of place. They are establishing the first elements of understanding the importance of protecting our planet. This is just the beginning of this child’s journey with Change is Simple.
