Background Information
What is the environment? While that question might seem simple, to a kindergartener, the word "environment" can be confusing! Does the environment include roads, cars, and houses? What about my pet dog or all the animals in the forest? In this lesson, we discuss how the environment includes all the natural formations on Earth, and all the human-made formations as well. Change is Simple considers people to be the most important part of the environment because we have the power to change and impact the environment for the better or the worse. This introduction to Change is Simple and the environment serves as a foundation upon which every other CiS lesson is built.
